Crawfish historian interviewed on KRVS-FM

KRVS is listener-supported, public radio station, located in Lafayette, Louisiana. The station is known for its annual live broadcasts  from Lafayette's Cajun Music Festival and Festival International de Louisiane, as well as producing and airing live broadcasts of the Louisiana Crossroads series.

KRVS radio host Judith Meriwether interviewed Sam Irwin, the state’s preeminent crawfish historian, on his new book, Louisiana Crawfish: A Succulent History of the Cajun Crustacean, on June 9, 2014. They talked about crawfish migrations and the role Breaux Bridge and New Orleans played in the development of Crawfish Nation and the “fun” of crawfish. HEAR THE INTERVIEW
