The National Football League (the non-profit profit corporation that has very high expenses) has really made a bonehead play. Realizing it botched the Ray Rice domestic violence situation by not suspending the football player for more than two games, the NFL has decided to ban the “Red Zone” ads from Slap Ya Mama, the popular New Orleans seasoning mix. Obviously, the NFL wanted to add a bit more pepper to its domestic violence policy by picking on our collective mama.
I sentence NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to a lifetime of bland food from Luby’s Cafeteria. I guess the NFL didn’t learn its lesson when it tried to steal the “Who dat?” copyright.
