sniff sniff… New Orleans is 1-3 but Crawfish Report remains All About the Saints

Crawfish Report and Melissa Stevenson of Lafayette, La. remain "All About the Saints."

Crawfish Report and Melissa Stevenson of Lafayette, La. remain “All About the Saints.”

The football bounces funny in the crawfish hole and Crawfish Report’s beloved Saints are heading for the Nowhere Bowl. Crawfish Report hopes a new Brees blows in to help us make Graham crackers out of the rest of the NFL.

In the meantime, feast your eyes on Melissa Stevenson, a pre-K teacher at Ascension Day School in Lafayette, La., in her parody of Meaghan Trainor’s “All About the Bass” hit song.

“All About the Saints” features Stevenson, Alyson Schexnayder, Louisette Leblanc, Stephanie Trainor, Nicole LeBlanc, Cody Hundley, Stephanie McCullor and Caroline Helm. Crawfish Report thinks these dancers are not only better than the Saintsations, they’re smarter in every way, shape and form.

Stevenson wrote and performed the music with her husband Cal Stevenson, 42, of Root Five Productions, who handled the production end of the song.

¬†Crawfish Report sincerely hopes the Saints can turn the season around, but in case Saints Nation can’t go to the Super Bowl, Crawfish Nation can still have fun.
